Humility is Not Self-Doubt

Sometimes people criticize others for having no humility because they appear (overly) confident. Or that someone may appear arrogant for not expressing self-doubt. Perhaps they may be confused. Humility is not self-doubt. Nor is it showing a lack of confidence. Neither is it a need to be self-deprecating.

If anything, humility is a sense of peace in knowing who you are and that no one is perfect, including yourself, but always striving to improve oneself. I think it's more of a state of being than something spoken.
